Even after suffering a stroke, Jayashree Mohan not only reached the summit but became the fastest woman to both ascend and descend Mount Kilimanjaro. But, as she says, she could not escape the pressure to be quietly resilient for being a woman, and would be expected to let people see how frightened she sometimes felt.
